Winter wedding in Quebec country – Ottawa Valley Weddings
WINTER WEDDING | Quyon, Bristol, QC
Kendra & Travis
If it is winter, you will have crazy couples, who would love to tie the knot during this beautiful and very Canadian season here. The only requirement you may have is: try not to freeze. Seeing this energy and fun-filled folks for their love of being outside in spite of the -20s is plain crazy. In my dictionary “being adventurous ” doesn’t even cover this kind of “let’s get married in the winter” love. Being Canadian most likely explain it.
Kendra and Travis are one of those winter loving couples who even made a nice pathway in the deep snow for their bridal party in order for them being able to walk on the snow instead of sinking into the snow.
Kendra and Travis had a wonderful day with their families and friends. There was a very warm atmosphere during the morning while the ladies were getting ready, everyone was high spirited and excited for the day to come. After finishing with the getting ready part we took a 20 minutes drive on the country roads to St-Mary’s Parish. (Quyon, QC). I always love coming back to this church where I have captured many happy couple’s ceremonies in the past few years. Kendra and decided to have all their photos taken afterward at their family’s property.
The ceremony was followed by a fun reception time in Bristol at the community center where the party ended in the early morning of Sunday.
If you want adventure, I can highly recommend getting married during the winter in Canada.
