When tradition meets modern – Doris and Dave’s Chinese wedding in Ottawa

A wonderful day was filled with 2 Chinese tea ceremonies and a civil ceremony on a beautiful warm fall day in September. I will say, it was crazy busy but most importantly so many people had come from all over the world to celebrate this sweet couple’s union.  Doris’s parents flew in from China, and others came from different cities of Canada to be here.  We had an emotionally packed day I certainly felt love radiating not just in Doris and Dave’s heart but in everyone’s heart for them. I met some wonderful and warm people and Doris and Dave will always have a special place in my heart, too!

After finishing 2 tea ceremonies at two different locations, we headed to the Experimental Farm for the civil ceremony, photos were done in the market area and finished the night at the Nordic Spa in Chelsea, Qc.
