Alyssa + Darren | Majestic Colonial – Punta Cana| Destination wedding

Alyssa and Darren’s wedding took place at the Majestic Colonial in Punta Cana, where I frequently photograph weddings. They tied the knot at the beach gazebo in front of their loving families and friends, who  made the trip down here all the way from British Columbia. They chose me to photograph the wedding from Alyssa’s getting ready till reception time and also decided to go another adventure with me the next day  to Playa del Macao.  Please check out the next post, where you can view a few images form the  Next Day Session.

It was an absolute pleasure to be working with them, their fun families and the bridal party. Their emotional engagement in front of the camera was natural, we really had a great time together. I am  fortunate to be able to work with couples who dare to show their personalities. The genuine connection between us makes it possible for me to get a glimpse into the essence  of who they are as a couple. That makes everybody’s story authentic and  unique.
